What we collect and why

When you submit the contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and message. This information is used solely to send you a personal reply from Mo. We do not sell your data or share it for any third party's own purposes, and we do not add you to any mailing list without your separate, explicit consent.

The legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interest (under EU and UK law): you have contacted us directly and we need your details to respond. Canadian residents' submissions constitute implied consent to this processing under PIPEDA.

Services we use

Your message passes through two services on its way to Mo: Cloudflare Workers, which handles the server request, and Resend, which delivers the email notification to Mo. Both have Data Processing Addendums in place and neither uses your data for their own marketing or profiling purposes. Resend retains email logs for 30 days before automatic deletion. Both processors are based in the United States; transfers of your data to the United States are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (for EU residents) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (for UK residents), as set out in their respective Data Processing Addendums. Canadian residents are hereby notified that their personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, and may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

How long we keep your data

Inquiry emails become part of Mo's normal business correspondence and are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for business purposes. We do not maintain a separate database of contact form submissions. We take reasonable steps to protect any personal data we hold from unauthorized access or disclosure.

Your rights

If you are based in the UK or EU, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, as well as the right to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, please contact Mo directly at mo@glutenfreedogtrainer.com. We will respond to such requests within one month.

UK residents may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). EU residents may contact their local supervisory authority.

If you are based in Canada, you have the right to request access to your personal information and to request that any inaccuracies be corrected. To exercise these rights, please contact Mo directly at mo@glutenfreedogtrainer.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site (e.g. page views, referral sources, device types). This service is cookieless: it does not place any tracking cookies on your device and does not fingerprint individual visitors. Analytics data is aggregate only and is processed under our legitimate interest in improving the site. Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum applies.
